PLUMERIA - A RESORT IN THE MAKING

Summer has started and at least you should have checked by now where to unwind.  A few days before April 2016, I was able to spend a night in one of the new resorts in Agno Pangasinan. This is not my first time to visit the place but it is my first time to see the new face of PLUMERIA, now - as a resort.  It used to be a rest house with a simple bamboo house.

As of this writing, PLUMERIA has now a house for rent (first image).  The right side has  two bed rooms, a kitchen, a sala, a veranda and of course comfort rooms.  Adjacent to the house are two more smaller rooms perfect for a couple up to a group of 4.  The good news is PLUMERIA is not yet that strict (as of this writing) when it comes to number of guests per room. In fact, they are willing to adjust the price of the rooms depending on the number of guests. All their rooms are air-conditioned.

They also have a bamboo house with two fan rooms, its veranda is over looking the beach and near the bamboo house is a dining area good for big groups.

The views are awesome...

What to do in Plumeria

Plumeria is a secluded place so it is a perfect get away from your urban life. It is also a plus for "Northerners" because you need not to book a flight to go here.  The place is perfect for team building activities.  You can also borrow volleyballs from staff and play with your buddies by the shore.

Try to row a boat with your friends within their man-made lake or do fishing then grill the fish on a bonfire.  All of these are available upon request even a tent to camp beside the shore for a more "vacation feel"!

My favorite though is a walk to the rock formations near the resort.  I can walk the location in just less than 20 mins, a spectacular view awaits you, perfect for selfies and perfect spot in appreciating God's gifts to mankind :) We also saw guys enjoying a dive at the edge of the rock. I bet that would be fun. Next to the rock formations is a white sand or should I say cream sand similar to Bolinao's. Check my pictures below and I hope you'll be enticed too.

You can also rent one of the boats along the shore.  They are not owned by PLUMERIA but it is a good way to help the fishermen in the area.  Visit the umbrella rocks and the abandoned lighthouse.
I know the vicinity has more to offer.  Ask the fishermen and they know it...

Karaoke machines are also common in the area.  Rent one and sing the night away with your buddies.

Before you leave the place, make sure you buy a fresh catch of fishes and squids from the fishermen early in the morning at a very low price.  Bring ice box or styro box before going here. Just buy ice from talipapas along the way or in their public market to preserve the freshness of your sea food till you get home.

My IDEA  for PLUMERIA
How I wish I have the resources to build such place in the future as an alternative source of income.  I wish PLUMERIA would build a facility for wall climbing.  This would be a good addition to their attraction.  At least team buildings would have additional option.

I know the management will be very willing to purchase volleyball nets for rentals.  It would also be reassuring for parents if they would at least build a life guard watch station.  These are small things PLUMERIA is capable of providing.

I am also hoping they would build a 1-2 storey building that would offer a dormitory type rooms.  This would attract more customers specially group on a tighter budget but would like to spend couple of nights at the beach.

I think replacing the boats with a kayak like those in Pugad in Pugo would  give the guests a good time killer.  Moreover, at least guests can opt to use them on the sea.

God bless PLUMERIA and more power to your resort!
